FA Women’s Championship side, Charlton Athletic, have released Charlotte Kerr and Renee Hector from their contracts with the club.

The Addicks say that they have mutually agreed to the early termination of Kerr’s contract to allow her to take a break from football, while the release of Hector will give her the opportunity to find more game-time elsewhere.

Kerr joined Charlton from Watford at the start of the 2018/19 season, making 28 appearances.

Hector helped Tottenham Hotspur to promotion to the Barclays FA WSL last season but her appearances for Charlton this term have been limited to just three.
