Sunderland will go top of Group 1 North if they defeat Aston Villa, who were beaten 6-0 at Doncaster in WSL 2 on Sunday.

In the same section, Sheffield FC host Durham for the second time in four days, looking to improve upon their 4-0 league loss to the Wildcats.

WSL 2 leaders Millwall lost their opening Conti Cup tie and now face a visit from Arsenal in Group 1 South.

Watford’s only win so far this season has come in the cup but they face a difficult fixture away at Reading.

Everton and Birmingham City both won their opening Group 2 North games but will be eager to double their points tally, with Manchester City also in their section.

Nick Cushing’s side kick off their campaign with a trip to Oxford United on Thursday.

Chelsea are the heavyweights in Group 2 South and they start away to Brighton, who are the early leaders.

Yeovil look for some respite from a testing start in WSL 1 but are up against a Spurs side who are unbeaten in all competitions since the opening day.
