Aston Villa came from behind to beat Tottenham Hotspur and go level on points in the Barclays Women’s Super League with fifth-placed West Ham.

Beth England scored inside half an hour of her Spurs debut, when found free in front of goal by a Kerys Harrop cross.

But Villa turned the game in their favour with two goals before the break, as Kenza Dali found the bottom corner from 20 yards and Rachel Daly tucked away a ball from Kirsty Hanson.

Tinja-Riikka Korpela pushed a Daly effort over the bar in the latter stages, then in the 90th minute England missed a great opportunity to equalise when slipped in by Drew Spence.
