Everton have signed midfielder Maeva Clemaron from French club FC Fleury 91 on a two-year deal.
Clemaron was part of the France squad at the World Cup, having made her senior debut in the 3-0 win over Germany at last year’s SheBelieves Cup, where she also played against England.
The 26-year-old had previously represented France from U-16 to U-19 level.
She spent one campaign with Lyon before joining Saint-Etienne, where she remained for nine seasons and captained the club before leaving for Fleury in 2017.
