Foxes Women add former England Colleges captain

Leicester City Women have signed defender Grace Riglar who joins after seven seasons at Bristol City.

Riglar started at Bristol Academy aged 12 and last season captained the Vixens’ Development Squad and made the First Team squad on one occassion.

She also skippered the England Colleges National Team at the 2018 Barcelona Football Trophy.

Speaking to LCWFC TV, Riglar said: “I came to Leicester because I want to set myself a new challenge as a player. The Club, the philosophy of the club and what Jonathan [Morgan] is bringing together, really excites me.”

Foxes boss Jonathan Morgan said:“Grace is a fantastic addition to the squad. We were lucky to have her down towards the end of last season and she impressed everyone.

“Grace is a composed ball playing defender and I am really excited to work with her.”
