The 23-year-old Scotland international has signed for Birmingham City from fellow WSL side Bristol City, on a deal which will run until June 2020.
Arthur had played for the Vixens since 2016, previously having had a spell with Hibernian and three years before that at Celtic.
“I’m really looking forward to it,” Arthur explained to birminghamcityladiesfc.co.uk. “I needed a new challenge and having played against Birmingham I know they have a really good team and they’re a tough team to play against.
“They’re a possession-based team and it suits my game. It’s the type of team I need to be involved in to develop as a player.”
“I’ve been monitoring Chloe [Arthur] ever since I took over the club,” Birmingham boss Marc Skinner commented. “She without doubt has the potential to become one of the best box-to-box midfielders in country.
“She has a wonderful tenacity about her. She has a winning spirit and whenever I have seen her play she’s always impressed me.
“Yes, she still has lots to learn but given time with us, I’m convinced she can be one of the best players in the league.”
