Birmingham City's Christie Harrison-Murray signs new deal

Birmingham City Women midfielder Christie Harrison-Murray has signed a new contract to extend her stay until June 2025.

Formerly known as Christie Murray, the Scotland international was married this summer, changing her surname to Harrison-Murray.

She accepted Birmingham City’s offer of a two-year deal, having already made 70 appearances for the Blues.

Harrison-Murray told BluesTV: “I feel like I’m part of the family now. Darren [Carter] and Jo [Potter] did a lot of work in recruiting good people and that was important for me.

“I like the fact that we are wanting to play now, and I’m just enjoying my football which is the main thing.”
