Hengoed-based side Cascade have been confirmed as promoted to the Orchard Welsh Premier Women’s League for season 2020-21.
They were earlier declared Welsh Women’s League champions but had to wait for the National Game Board’s decisions on promotions and relegations in the national leagues of Wales.
Barry Town United and Caldicot Town both missed out and the WPWL will now run with nine teams next season, with no side from the North Wales Women’s League going up.
