The England Women’s U-23 squad for the 2018 Nordic Tournament has been named, reports TheFA.com.
Sunderland head coach Melanie Reay, who assisted Phil Neville in one of his early Lionesses camps, will take charge of the team in Sarpsborg, Norway after being released by Sunderland and Gateshead College for the trip.
Ten of the 20 players selected featured in last year’s tournament – where England ran out winners.
Manchester United trio Millie Turner, Katie Zelem and Ella Toone are included while Everton boast four representatives.
The Young Lionesses will take on host nation Norway (on Wednesday 29 August), USA (Friday 31 August) and Sweden (Monday 3 September) in the round-robin competition.
Reay said: “Naming the squad has been a privilege with such a talented group of players.
“I’d like to place on record my thanks to Sunderland and Gateshead College for allowing me to take this opportunity.
“We are all really looking forward to heading out to Norway for what is always an exciting and competitive tournament.”
