#WPWL Cup : Cyncoed and Llandudno go through

Cyncoed and Llandudno won through in the Orchard Welsh Premier League Cup, while in the FAW Women’s Cup progress was made by Cascade, Splott Albion and Willows.

Briton Ferry Llansawel held hosts Cyncoed to a goalless first 45 but Heledd Evans broke the deadlock with her first goal for the Cardiff side and Kirstie Davies later doubled the lead.

Llandudno were 3-0 up at half time on their way to a -2 scoreline at Caernarfon Town, where Fflur Williams hit a hat-trick star. Kelsey Davies, Mari Gibbard, Anna Jones and Sofie Owen also scored for the visitors, with Ffion Owen bagging both for the home side.

In the FAW Women’s Cup Qualifying Round, Cascade sent Villa Dino Christchurch to a 7-0 defeat, with trebles for Anny Lewis and Abbie Davies.

Splott Albion won 7-1 at a depleted Coed Duon Dragons, who only had ten players for the second half after losing one to concussion.

Willows were the other winners, with all three goals at Rhos.
