FA WNL Division 1 North leaders Barnsley fell behind to an Amanda Fallon goal at North West League side Crewe Alexandra but Amy Woodruff prevented an upset with a reply 4 minutes from the end of normal time. The visitors also left it late in extra-time as Laura Bartup buried the winner on 118 minutes.
West Midlands League club Leek Town bowed out with a narrow 2-1 home defeat to more senior opponents in Lincoln City, whom they had led with 18 minutes left. Abbie Murrell then equalised but extra-time was needed after the Leek keeper saved a penalty. Seven minutes into the added half-hour, Amy Blinkhorn lobbed in Lincoln’s winner.
A 12th-minute Ella Pusey effort for Southampton FC proved enough to progress past hosts Chesham United.
Nichole Havery bagged a brace to help see Chester le Street Town through 3-1 at Durham Cestria, who had levelled wih a Jen Knowles free-kick.
Actonians edged AFC Wimbledon 2-1, with all the oals in the first 45, Hannah Billingham heading the Dons level.
Wolves saw off Luton Town 4-1 for a tenth straight win in all competitions. Shannie Jennings and Lowri Walker scored in the first quarter of the game, Jade Cross and Sophie Bramford later added one each and Jess McKay hesdded in a consolation for the Hatters.
Bethany Donoghue scored two and made two as Chorley ran out 4-0 winners at TNS, where Rebecca Kemp and Ellie Mills also found the net.
Brighouse Town won by a similar score at Liverpool Feds, Hannah Friebach scored twice, as did Emma Dobson but with two headers from corners.
Erin Bloomfield notched a treble including a penalty as Southampton Women’s FC put out Portishead, Jane Yeates their other scorer.
Ipswich Town put five past AFC Basildon, Paige Peake, Sophie Peskett and Natasha Thomas first-half scorers, Abbie Lafayette and Zoe Cossey on target in the last 10 minutes.
