Ashford Town (Middx), leaders of the London & South East League, sent Oxford United of the FAWNL Southern Premier to a 3-0 defeat.

Stourbridge again won away to FAWNL opposition, the West Midlands League side eliminating Cambridge City.

Clapton won on penalties away from home against more senior opposition for the second successive round, Hounslow losing out following a goalless 90 minutes.

Liverpool Feds won 2-1 at higher division Hull City with goals from Chan Thompson and Jen Rogers, Bournemouth had a narrow defeat at Portsmouth to an Evie Gane decider, Wimbledon accounted for hosts Hashtag United with Ashlee Hincks’ last-minute free kick.

Ellie Parker saved twice in the shoot-out as Southampton Women’s FC edged through at Cheltenham.

Ilminster had a bumper crowd of 312 for the visit of Southampton FC but were sunk 7-0 by the high-flying Saints.

Southern League Eastleigh attracted over 200 but visitors Exeter City went away having scored all five of the game’s goals.

Plymouth Argyle accounted for another South West League side as AFC St Austell bowed out 4-2 in front of over 150 fans.

Gillingham were 2-0 up against Actonians in the dying minutes when a serious injury forced the tie to be abandoned.
