All the goals came in the last half-hour or so, as Bayern Munich won 3-1 at Ajax, the visitors breaking the deadlock with a Kay-Lee de Sanders own-goal. Sydney Lohmann made it 2-0 and although Jonna Van de Velde replied, Simone Laudehr restored the two-goal advantage.

Despite a fourth-minute Louise Quinn goal for Fiorentina, the Italian side ended up having to rescue a point at home to Slavia Praha. Mia Persson and Petra Divišová turned the game on its head but Daniela Sabatino levelled in the 79th minute.
Thursday’s other tie, Vålerenga versus Brøndby, was postponed after the Norwegian local authorities quarantined the Danish side.
