U-17 Lionesses squad named for UEFA Elite Round

John Griffiths has named his England squad for the final round of qualifiers for the UEFA Women’s U-17 Championship, report TheFA.com.

The Young Lionesses will take on Slovenia (on 25 March), Switzerland (28 March) and host nation Norway (31 March) with the top-placed nation in the group making it through to the finals in May.

England made it to the elite qualifying round by defeating Scotland, Slovakia and Latvia last October.

This year’s finals will take place in Lithuania.
