Sussex FA and Sussex County Women & Girls League are running a recreational small-sided Festival, as part of the #Euro2017 celebrations on Friday 28th July.
Who are encouraged to join in?
– Teams or individuals (individuals will be put together to make teams)
– Women who don’t play regularly for a team but have always fancied giving it a go
– Mum’s who have watched their children play and want to have a try themselves
– Females who have played before but cannot commit to joining a regular team, or are retired
Purpose of the Festival
The organisers say there is a growing demand for this type of activity, with groups starting to form and more individuals showing an interest in playing a more recreational level football for the first time, or after a few years of retiring from the game.
Festival Details
– Where: 3G Stadium Pitch @ Sussex County FA, Culver Road, Lancing, BN15 9AX
– When: Friday 28th July 2017
– Time: Register time from 6:30pm; Matches start 7:pm; Latest finish 9: pm
– Cost: £5 per person
– Format: 6 a-side but flexible if needed, depending on numbers
