Sheffield United have added forward Rhema Lord-Mears to their squad ahead of the second half of the FA Women’s Championship season.
The 24-year-old arrives after spending the first half of the season with Blackburn Rovers, who she joined in the summer after a year playing in Belgium with Anderlecht.
The striker is familiar to Blades manager Carla Ward, who played with Lord-Mears at Sheffield FC in WSL 2
Ward says she’s delighted to add another player to her squad ahead of a big second half of the season for her side.
“Rhema has a lot of quality and potential and I think this is an opportunity to really show that, she comes straight in to add competition and depth at an important time.”
