Partick Thistle overcame a fightback by Hibernian to reach the Scottish Women’s Cup semi-finals on Friday 1 April.

Quarter-Finals

Hearts 2-1 Kilmarnock
Partick Thistle 4-2 Hibernian
Stirling University 0-8 Glasgow City

Clare Docherty and Taylor Hamill scored to give Partick Thistle a 2-0 lead over Hibernian at the break. Cara McBrearty put Partick in dreamland with their third but they had to endure a Hibs fightback, as Shannon Leishman and Michaela McAlonie replied. However, Cheryl McCulloch then sealed the Jags first semi-final place in the cup.

Maria McAneny had Hearts ahead against Kilmarnock, Alex Middleton volleying the visitors level after the interval. But McAneny raced onto Erin Rennie’s pass to net the decider in the last quarter of an hour.

Glasgow City coasted through at Stirling University – eventually – with all their eight goals coming in the second half. Priscila Chinchilla hit a hat-trick, Kerry Beattie got a couple, Lauren Davidson, Hayley Lauder and Jenna Clark one each.
