SBS Scottish Women’s Premier League 2’s top two Aberdeen and Partick Thistle both won but Queen’s Park lost ground in defeat to St Johnstone.

Aberdeen stayed five points clear at the top with a 3-0 victory over Kilmarnock. Eva Thomson made the breakthrough after 58 minutes, Bayley Hutchison adding a late second and Lauren Campbell the third deep into added time.
Second-placed Partick Thistle beat Glasgow Women by the only goal of the local derby. Cheryl Rigden scored on the stroke of half-time, Cheryl Nicholson saving her first attempt. Glasgow lost their keeper to injury and later also replacement stopper Chloe Gibney, with Leah Robinson then taking the gloves.
Dundee United defeated Boroughmuir Thistle 4-1 to go third, Megan Burns taking only 103 seconds to put them ahead. Robyn Smith doubled the lead and although Brogan Anderson replied after the hour mark, Jade McLaren and Holly Napier struck to ensure the win.
Hamilton Academical hit eight past Stirling University to climb to fourth on goal-difference. Josephine Giard marked her debut with a hat-trick, Amy Anderson celebrated her 100th appearance with a double, while Dionne Brown, MT Gardiner and Nichola Sturrock got one each.
St Johnstone posted a fine 3-0 result over Queen’s Park which raised them to seventh spot. Bex McGowan bagged a brace and Ellie Cowie was also on target,
