#WPWL: Swansea City Ladies beat leaders

Swansea City are level on points with Orchard Welsh Premier Women’s League leaders Cardiff Met after defeating them with a late goal.

Chloe Chivers’ 83rd-minute goal saw Swansea City take all three points against top of the table Cardiff Met.

Briton Ferry Llansawel twice conceded the advantage before edging ten-player Cascade 3-2. Lowri Riddings’ first-minute goal was cancelled out by Sophie Hamer, Renee Day restored the lead and although Holly Hughes drew the visitors level, they had Annaliese Lewis sent off before the break. Alexsie Clayton then grabbed the winner on the hour mark.

Cardiff City FC scored in each half to beat Aberystwyth Town, Siobhan Walsh’s opener added to by Phoebie Poole with 13 minutes remaining.

Cyncoed rescued a point at home to Port Talbot Town, Alison Witts equalising on 75 minutes after Jesci Hare’s 19th-minute goal.
