QPR Women have signed midfielder Georgia Miller from West Ham United.
The 21-year-old swaps east London for west, joining Martino Chevannes’ side ahead of the 2018/19 FA Women’s National League season.
“I’m looking forward to a fresh start,” Miller told www.qpr.co.uk.
“There were a lot of reasons behind the move, but the main thing was the interest from the club. It’s always nice to have someone who wants you to play for them and I’m looking forward to playing under a good manager.
“I’m really excited to be joining QPR and can’t wait to get started.”
Despite being just 21, Miller boasts FA Women’s Super League experience from her time at Watford and Millwall Lionesses.
She becomes the R’s second summer signing following Courtnay Ward-Chambers’ recent arrival.
“We’re working hard behind the scenes so we can get new players in to bed in with the group and get a good pre-season under their belts,” R’s boss Chevannes said.
“Georgia’s a tremendous player and one I’ve been tracking for a while. She’s a combative box-to-box midfielder who’s technically gifted, so she’ll bring something new in the midfield areas as well as aiding us going forwards and defensively.”
