Rangers were 2-0 up against Glasgow City through Lizzie Arnot and a Naimh Farrelly own-goal when they had keeper Jenna Fyfe sent off for bringing down Ode Fulutudilu. Hpwever, Jane Ross headed a third goal for the hosts, before Claire Shine got one back for City. Rangers now sit two points ahead of Glasgow City and have a game in hand.

Celtic won 2-0 at Spartans to move within two points of Glasgow City, whom they visit in midweek. Maria Olafsdottir Gros and Clarissa Larisey got the goals for the Hoops.
Aberdeen defeated fourth-placed Hibernian with an eighth-minute Eva Thomson goal, Hearts are eighth after beating Motherwell by the same score thanks to Erin Rennie’s strike, Partick won the basement clash at Hamilton also by a single goal, Clare Docherty with the 77th-minute decider,
In SWPL 2, Boroughmuir Thistle edged Kilmarnock with a Shannon Todd effort and Stirling University gained just a fourth point of the campaign at St Johnstone, where Emma Lyons put them ahead but Leia Glading levelled.
