#FAWWomensCup: Swansea City progress past a stubborn Pwllheli

Cardiff City FC, Cardiff Met, Pontypridd Town and Swansea City made the last four of the FA of Wales Women’s Cup.

Swansea City were kept out by lower division Pwllheli until the second half, when Chloe Chivers’ long-range effort made the breakthrough and five minutes later Katy Hosford got the second.

Pontypridd struck twice in three minutes midway through the second half in beating Barry, Renee Day volleying in and Efa Preece-Jones making a swift impact from the bench.

Bethel restricted Cardiff Met to a Steph Turner goal in the first half but the same player netted again after the break, together with Shannon Evans, Laura-May Walkley and a penalty from Lauren Hutton-Townsend.

Cardiff City FC hit Abergavenny for six, Zoe Atkins bagging a brace, with one apiece from Danielle Broadhurst, Amy Williams, Siobhan Walsh and Phoebie Poole.
