The 15th edition of the Homeless World Cup in Oslo’s iconic Rådhusplassen kicked off on 29th August and runs through to 5th September, with 20 teams in the women’s category.
Crown Princess of Norway Mette-Marit was in attendance as hosts Norway suffered a 10-1 defeat by Chile, one of the tournament favourites.
The day’s other Group C fixture later saw a second Scandinavian loss, as England ran out 4-0 winners.
Group A’s games ended with Kenya thrashing India 11-2 and Scotland hitting the USA for six.
Wales went down 8-0 Mexico, while also in Group B Greece shared a dozen goals with the Netherlands.
In Group D, France were on the wrong end of a 4-7 scoreline against Kyrgyz Republic, while Hungary got the only goal of the game with Ivory Coast.
