#Lionesses U-19s begin Elite Round with 4-1 win

Ella Toone rounded off the scoring for England U-19s.

England defeated Israel 4-1 in their first match at the UEFA U-19 Elite Round qualifiers in Slovakia.

Bridget Galloway got the Young Lionesses off to the perfect start with a fifth-minute goal, which Aimee Palmer added to just after the half-hour.

Jessica Ngunga further extended the lead midway through the second half but Shira Elinav replied for Israel on 75 minutes.

Ella Toone then completed the scoring deep into stoppage-time.

Rehanne Skinner’s side next meet hosts Slovakia on Friday, before finishing up against Germany on Monday.
