Reading have signed 32-year-old midfielder Jade Moore on loan from Manchester United for the rest of the season.

Moore made nearly fifty appearances for the Royals from 2017 to 2020 and has over fifty caps for England.

Head coach Kelly Chambers told readingfc.co.uk: “With Jade, we know exactly the type of player we’re getting.

“Having a player of her experience, in the position she plays, you often need a steady influence in the middle of the pitch in those big matches and moments.

“She offers us just as much in possession, as well as out, and with her experience she can often see attacks building one, two, three passes ahead of time, so I’m really pleased we were able to get this deal done and welcome Jade back.”

Manchester United head coach Marc Skinner told manutd.com: “This loan deal is an opportunity for Jade to gain some consistency in playing time. Reading will be gaining an excellent person and player, and we wish her all the best for the remainder of the season.”
