Gemma Davison has left Aston Villa following the expiry of her short-term contract with the Barclays FA Women’s Super League side.

The well-travelled winger and England international joined Villa in the summer from Tottenham Hotspur, having previously also played for the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.

Davison made seven appearances for Villa, the last of which was in the Conti Cup defeat against Blackburn Rovers last month.
