Manchester United Women’s England U-21 international Aimee Palmer will leave the club this month upon expiry of her contract.

Midfielder Palmer made 15 appearances and scored one goal during her United career, and had most recently been on loan at FA Women’s Championship club Sheffield United for the 2019/20 season before being recalled in January.

She joined United from Bristol City and has also been capped at England U-17 and U-19 level.

Head Coach Casey Stoney told manutd.com: “Aimee has been with us from the start of this journey and will be forever be a part of Manchester United Women’s history makers. I have seen her grow as a player and person both on and off the pitch, and I would like to thank her for her efforts over the last couple of years and wish her the best of luck going forward.”
