Durham Women FC have signed ‘promising attacking midfielder’ Holly Manders from Middlesbrough.
Manders netted twice in three games for England U-18s in international firendlies earlier this summer.
The youngster told the Wildcats website: “It feels really good to be here. It’s really exciting and hopefully now it will be an enjoyable season.
“I think this season will be a real challenge for me, but I’m excited for that challenge and that’s why I want to be here.”
Durham Manager Lee Sanders said of Manders: “She’s a young player and left-footed, which is a rarity and gives her an advantage.
“Technically, she is very talented and has been involved in the England national set-up – so we’re pleased to get a player of her calibre in.”
