Chelsea beat tournament hosts Portland Thorns 1-0 in the third-place match at the Women’s International Champions Cup.

The goal came around the hour mark, as Sam Kerr played in Pernille Harder and although her effort was blocked, player of the match Guro Reiten pounced on the loose ball to fire home.

Lyon won the final 4-0 over Las Rayadas de Monterrey, with a quickfire Lindsey Horan brace – including a penalty – sending them on their way before the break.

Sara Dabritz and Signe Bruun added one each to make sure of victory.
