Cascade have been declared champions of the Welsh Women’s League on PPG (Points Per Game) following the forced closure of the 2019-20 campaign.
The Caerphilly club won 11 out of their 12 league matches played and finished ahead of Barry Town United on the points-per-game system used to decide final placings.
Cascade do have the necessary new Tier One Licence but must wait on a decision as to whether their will be promotion to the Orchard Welsh Premier Women’s League.

Cascade boss, Sam Daniels tweeted: “I am absolutely buzzing! It’s not the way I imagined winning my first league title as a manager but my team have worked incredibly hard on and off the pitch this season, and only dropping two points in our first 12 games they thoroughly deserve it.”
Joining in the celebrations, long-serving Anny Lewis added: “I’m unbelievably proud of this team, 18 years a player and finally league champions!.”
