FA Women’s Championship newcomers Blackburn Rovers have signed 19-year-old Northern Ireland senior international Louise McDaniel from Linfield.
McDaniel scored on her Linfield debut at the age of just 14 and then bagged six goals in a victory over Derry City.
She also won a host of trophies during her time at the club, including three league titles, lifting the Irish Cup twice and the League Cup three times.
The midfielder has also competed in the UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifiers while at Linfield and is the second player from the Danske Bank Women’s Premier to move to the FAWC in recent months, after Megan Bell’s move to Durham.
