England international striker Ebony Salmon has returned to Aston Villa, whom she left in 2018, on a three year-contract.
The 22-year-old has mainly had spells with Bristol City, Racing Louisville and Houston Dash in her time away, last season scoring ten times from 29 games in the US top flight.
Villa manager Carla Ward told avfc.co.uk: “Ebony is someone I’ve worked with before and is someone with huge potential.”
“She’s got pace, power and the ability to change a game.”
“She’s a player who will add even more competition to our front-line and will be a great addition to the group.”
