Cardiff Met are on the verge of the Orchard Welsh Premier League Cup semi-finals after a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Briton Ferry Llansawel.

Cardiff Met needed a last-minute goal to seal victory over Briton Ferry Llansawel, 18-year-0ld debutant Ellie Preece doubling her tally for the day, having opened the scoring in the first half.

The result sees the Archers set to book a semi-final place, with a 100% record and goal-difference of +15 with one group game left.

Port Talbot Town ran out 5-1 winners over Cyncoed, as Bethan Lloyd sent them on their way with two goals in as many minutes midway through the first 45.

Lauren Amor, Courtney Thomas and Jess Denscombe added one apiece, with Caitlin Bevan getting the visitors consolation.

Cyncoed have now finished their group fixtures and are out of the competition.
