The FAW has taken the decision to extend the current suspension of all domestic football in Wales until at least 15 May 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

While the 2019-20 season for all National Leagues was last month extended indefinitely, the FAW say that current working documents for the Orchard Welsh Premier Women’s League, among others, “Have been shared with clubs, in order to find a solution for the resumption of football when it is safe to do so.”

The FAW repeated the warning from their insurers that they will not respond to claims; “If clubs continue to provide sessions which is against the advice of the Government and Governing Body.

“This includes clubs arranging matches, training sessions, friendlies, competitions and tournaments.”
