#WPWL: Highest ever finish for Port Talbot Town

Cardiff Met finish season unbeaten, Swansea City go second, Port Talbot Town seal first top-four finish and Briton Ferry Llansawel get off the bottom as Rhyl end in last place.

Treble-winning Cardiff Met completed an unbeaten season as braces by Chloe Tiley and Madison Schupbach plus a goal from Robyn Pinder saw the Archers win 5-2 at Llandudno. The hosts got a couple of late goals back through Mari Gibbard and Kelsey Davies.

Swansea City climbed back up into second spot when hitting Cyncoed for six. Kelly Adams, Emma Beynon, Shaunna Jenkins and Lauren Smith’s penalty all came before half time, Adams later doubled her tally and Lani Hogben struck from distance.

Port Talbot ensured a top-four finish for the first time with a 3-1 success over Abergavenny.

Briton Ferry took eighth spot at the expense of Rhyl, whom they beat 4-2 to condemn to last place. Mollie Jones hit a hat-trick and Renée Day got the visitors’ ther goal, before Caroline Gardner and Rachael Nattrass replied.
