Italy thrashed Israel to book their berth at the 2022 Women’s Euros as a best runner-up, meaning Switzerland have to depend on qualifying via the play-offs.
Needing any victory other than 1-0 to go through in stead of the Swiss, Italy scored a dozen times including three in the first 13 minutes.
Valentina Giacinti, Barbara Bonansea and Daniela Sabatino each scored twice.
With all the group games now completed, the qualified teams are: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, Spain and Sweden, while Austria, Iceland and Italy progress as the three best runners-up, als0 joining hosts England and holders Netherlands at the final tournament.
Three more places are available through the play-offs, with Czech Republic, Northern Ireland, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland and Ukraine going into the draw on 5 March.
