West Bromwich Albion Women will be based at Sutton Coldfield Town FC next season, hoping the 3g pitch will mean fewer postponed fixtures.

General Manager Dave Lawrence told wba.co.uk: “It’s a great venue, the pitch is immaculate, it’s got everything we need and we feel like it will be a good home for us for next season and beyond.

“It was a difficult decision to make as everyone at Walsall Wood had been so caring and accommodating throughout the course of last season, but the move to a 3G pitch is one that will certainly help us in the long-term.”

Season tickets will be made available for purchase for the Baggies upcoming season in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier at Coles Lane.
