AFC Bournemouth and FC United of Manchester beat higher league opponents in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup 3rd Round Qualifying.

AFC Bournemouth 3-1 Buckland Athletic

Molly Clark hit a hat-trick as Southern League AFC Bournemouth beat Buckland Athletic 3-1, to go further in the competition than they have ever previously managed to do.

Coventry Sphinx scored first and pushed hosts Wem Town all the way, before the regional league side eventually bowed out 4-3.

Ipswich Town won the East Anglian derby at Norwich City 3-1, having built a 3-0 lead over the Canaries.

Barnsley’s Kathryn Smith scored after around 10 seconds, Lindsey Tugby doubled the lead, Laura Bartup reducing the arrears for Leeds but goals late in the second half from Darcie Greene and Courteney Csomor saw the Tykes progress.

High-scoring Wolves were limited to a single goal at Long Eaton but it was enough to send Wanderers through.

One tie went to penalties as Harlow Town edged out Eastern League rivals Royston Town, after they had finished all square at 3-3.
