The Vitality Women’s FA Cup 3rd Round sees Championship sides enter and leaders London City Lionesses are to play Portsmouth.

Bristol City versus Southampton FC is a clash of sides currently second and third in the Barclays Women’s  Championship, while Newcastle United – who had a crowd of over 28,500 in the second round – are home again, this time to FAWNL Northern Premier leaders Wolves.

Bournemouth Sports are the only team from beyond the fourth tier definitely through, the Southern League side face a testing away day at Cardiff City Ladies who sit top of the FAWNL Division 1 South West.

South West League side Liskeard Athletic try again next Sunday to play their second round tie with Oxford United, the Cornish club now knowing a shock win would give them another big home game against Plymouth Argyle.
