Spain clinched second spot in UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 Group B when defeating Denmark, Germany made it three straight wins.

While Denmark needed a victory to progress and a draw would have been sufficient for Spain, the game stayed in the balance until a 90th-minute breakthrough.

A crowd of over 16,000 at Brentford saw Marta Cardona head home to make sure Las Rojas will play the Lionesses at Brighton on Wednesday.

Germany will play Group A runners-up Austria on Thursday in the quarter-final at the Brentford.
