Tom Davies is the new manager of FA WNL Division 1 South West side Cheltenham Town Ladies, the 28-year-old succeeding Alex Cheal in the position.

Davies, an NHS senior physical health instructor and a UEFA B licence holder, had coached at Stoke City and Wolves before joining the Robins as head coach last summer.

“I’m delighted to have been trusted with the role and I can’t wait to get started,” he told gloucestershirelive.co.uk

“It’s a fantastic opportunity, within a club that’s developing season on season, both with its on and off the field operations and for me personally it’s a proud moment to be appointed.”
