Warm-up matches ahead of the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament included a 3-0 win for Great Britain over New Zealand.

Ellen White bagged a brace for Team GB, with Nikita Parris also on target in Tokyo.

Canada’s Janine Beckie scored twice and Nichelle Prince the other in a 3-3 tie against the Netherlands. Vivianne Miedema, Jackie Groenen and Lineth Beerensteyn.

Also on Wednesday, Japan edged Australia 1-0 as Mana Iwabuchi scored nine minutes into the second half.
