FA Premier League Midlands Division 1 side, Solihull Moors have announced Tally Ho as their new home ground for the 2017/18 season.
Solihull say the sports complex, belonging to West Midlands Police and situated on the Pershore Road in Edgbaston, has a reputation for being one of the best grass pitches in the area. Tally Ho regularly hosts cup finals and is backed up by a wonderful set of facilities for players and supporters alike.
Moors believe the move signifies their intent to continue to provide better facilities for players and supporters. Tally Ho has already homed the team once before, in their previous life as Solihull Ladies.
Manager Sarah Westwood said: “This ground has an excellent reputation in the local area, everyone knows it and everyone knows it’s a classy venue.
“It’s a venue that I am looking forward to playing at and one that the girls are excited about as well”.
Solihull Moors’ first home game takes place on Sunday 27 August (2pm kick-off) against Radcliffe Olympic and the new ground address is : Tally Ho, Pershore Road, Birmingham, B5 7RN.
Solihull Ladies officially joined forces with The Moors in November 2016 and were renamed for the forthcoming season.
