Hearts returned to the top of Scottish Women’s Premier League Division 2 with a 3-1 win over Glasgow Girls, while FC Kilmarnock hit double-figures at Hutchison Vale to jump to third.
Hearts led Glasgow Girls through an Ashley Carse goal at half time and although that was cancelled out straight after the interval by Lucy McEwan, Danni Pagliarulo restored the advantage.
The crossbar prevented the hosts sealing the points only temporarily, with Alison Hall later getting their third goal from a perfectly timed run to ensure they took back the leadership from Hamilton Academical.

Lowly Hutchison Vale were hit 14-1 at home by FC Kilmarnock, a result that sent Vale’s goals against column into three figures after only ten games. Lisa Swanson did the most damage with a double hat-trick, Colette Fleming scored four times.
Partick Thistle were 5-0 winners at home to Hutchison on Thursday, two goals by Cheryl Rigden and one by Sara Paterson had the Jags three up at half time, with Suzanne MacTaggart and Mhairi Hawksworth later adding one apiece.
The return match at the Saughton Enclosure on 2 June is the last SWPL fixture before the mid-season break but that day is also the 2nd Round of the SSE Scottish Women’s Cup.
