#SWFL1: Hibernian Ladies U-23 go second in the South

Hibernian U-23 went second in Scottish Women’s League Division 1 South with a 7-0 win over Renfrew.

Dons stay on course for title

Aberdeen stayed five points clear of second-placed Cove in SWFL 1 North with as many goals against Buchan, while Rangers stung Stonehaven 7-1 with the help of a Mel Stirling hat-trick.

Dunfermline went third with a 4-0 win over Westdyke, Inverness just got the better of Kelty Hearts 3-2 away with a brace from Leanne Calder and the winner from Finella Annand.

East Fife are up to sixth with a 4-0 result at Raith while Montrose were being held 3-3 by Deveronvale.

Hibs U-23s go second

With the top-two clash postponed in SWFL 1 South, Hibs U-23s climbed to second when sinking Renfrew 7-0.

Fourth-placed Rangers Development stayed ahead of Queens Park with a 4-1 result a Blackburn, while the Spiders beat Spartans Development 7-2 against whom Ashley McKeown bagged a brace.

Ayr won the basement battle at Kilmarnock U-23s 3-1 with the aid of Rachel Scott’s double.

Hamilton U-23s had a 4-1 victory over Boroughmuir which featured two free-kick finishes by Rachel Howie and also two goals for Fiona Cullie.

SWFL 2 – Moray stun Buchan

West/South West – Morton moved six points ahead of Kilwinning with a 8-0 thrashing of Mid Annandale.

North/East – Forfar Farmington Women jumped two places to third with their 4-1 defeat of Dunfermline, while Moray had a remarkable 10-0 scoreline at home to Buchan Youth who had been three places higher than them in the table.

Highlands & Islands League – Clachnacuddin net ninth win in a row

Clachnacuddin’s ninth straight win came with a 13-0 beating of Buckie, while Brora Rangers took the points 4-2 against Kirkwall City.
