Two teams needed extra time to reach the third round of the SSE Scottish Women’s Cup, with Dundee City edging BSC Glasgow 4-3 and Edinburgh Caledonia eventually coming through 4-1 at Deveronvale.

Laura-Anne Johnston netted a late winner to send Dundee City through against BSC Glasgow, it was her second goal of the game and teammate Amanda Primrose also scored twice.

Dryburgh Athletic were back in action less than 48 hours of a cup final extra-time defeat and went out 2-1 at home to Stonehaven.

Aberdeen won by the odd goal in five at Buchan where Bayley Hutchison, Amy Phillips and Eilidh Shore were their scorers.

Eva Thomson made her 100th club appearance for Westdyke in their 5-2 success at Musselburgh Windsor.

There were two mismatches as Inverness Caledonian Thistle ran riot at Panmure with a 19-1 scoreline and Queens Park crushed Clachnacuddin 17-0.
