In the SSE Scottish Women’s Cup Preliminary Round, SWFL 2 East side Dundee City won 5-2 away to Division 1 Westdyke with a hat-trick by Amanda Primrose

Two ties went to extra-time, as Sammy Hyett scored twice in Edinburgh Caledonia’s 2-1 last-gasp victory over Montrose and Stenhousemuir got a last-minute leveller at Murieston before the home side netted the decider on 110 minutes.

United Glasgow defeated Dryburgh Athletic in a seven-goal thriller and their was a 5-2 win for Westerlands at Falkirk.

Deveronvale beat Buchan by the odd goal in five, Raith Rovers won 3-1 at Buckie and Turriff United went through by a similar score at home to West Park United.

Queens Park put four goals past GOC Academy, Thistle Weir went one better against St Mirren and Bishopston hit hosts Stranraer 6-1, while Renfrew top-scored with a 13-0 thrashing of Bonnyrigg Rose with braces for Chloe Devine and Karen Baillie.

Dundee United, East Fife, Cove Rangers, Morton, Pollok United and Stonehaven were all awarded walkovers with a number of away sides not travelling.

Hibs U-23s net seven in preparation for SWFL 1 Cup final.

Meanwhile in league action, Dundee United replaced East Fife at the top of SWFL 1 North on goal-difference, after sending basement side Stirling University Development to a 6-1 defeat.

Hibernian U-23 went three points clear of Rangers Development in SWFL 1 South when sinking mid-table Blackburn United 7-0 at home.

Hibs U-23 face Celtic Academy in the SWFL Division 1 Cup Final on Thursday 3rd May at Ainslie Park, kick off 7.45pm.
