Two of Scotland’s finest players met in the build-up to this Sunday’s final of the SSE Scottish Women’s Cup Final, reports scotwomensfootball.com.

Glasgow City midfielder, Hayley Lauder, came face to face with fellow Scotland international and Hibernian defender, Joelle Murray, at the Toni Macaroni Stadium to promote the game.

Hibernian will be out to match their success of 2016 by claiming another cup double. They defeated Glasgow City in both finals last season, including a dramatic win on penalties at the Superseal Stadium in this competition. With the SWPL Cup already in the bag, this would be another fantastic end of season for the Edinburgh side.

However, Glasgow City will be looking to deny their rivals on Sunday and round off another historic year. They won their 11th league title in a row after a 3-0 victory over Hibernian on the 12th November. It was an impressive display from the champions and they’ll hope to repeat that performance again on Sunday. If they do, they’ll claim the cup for the ninth time.
