Tottenham Hotspur have signed 20-year-old midfielder Grace Clinton from on loan from Manchester United until the end of the 2023/24 season.
The former Everton player helped Bristol City win the Barclays Women’s Championship and was the club’s Young Player of the Year with six goals in her 12 league appearances.
Internationally, she has been capped by England at U-17, U-19 and U-23 levels.
Clinton told tottenhamhotspur.com: “Robert [Vilahamn] and Vicky [Jepson] were a big attraction for me to come to Spurs because they’re both known for developing young players and giving young players a chance, which is obviously amazing to hear.
“I’ve seen what he’s done with other players before and the players he’s worked with really like him, so I’m really excited to get started with him and Vicky.
“I want to get a certain amount of assists and goals and I want to be a big part of helping Tottenham progress from last year and place better in the league. I want us to grow as a team, but of course I’ve got my personal goals that I’ve set myself.”
