Spain overcame an early setback to net a stoppage-time winner against Norway in the UEFA Women’s U-19 Championship Final.
Both finalists had come through the midweek semis 1-0, as Uria Gabilondo got Spain’s goal against Sweden and an own-goal from the unfortunate Éloïse Sévenne saw France bow out to Norway.
Iris Omarsdottir gave Norway a fifth minute lead in the final in Ostrava, Czech Republic but Ane Elexpuru equalised before half time and Julia Bartel struck the decider four minutes into added time.
